Relevant experience in Sales/Business Development/Export Sales in the Handbag, Bag, Luggage, Leather Goods, Fashion Accessories, or similar manufacturing industry.
Experience dealing with international buyers, buying houses, sourcing offices, brands, or export-oriented factories will be highly preferred.
Candidates should have a good understanding of handbag materials, accessories, construction, production processes, quality requirements, product development, costing, and export order execution.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, customer relationship management, and business development skills.
Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and other relevant business applications.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Develop and maintain business relationships with international buyers, buying houses, sourcing companies, brands, and importers.
Explore and develop new export business opportunities in international markets.
Handle customer inquiries, product development, quotations, costing, negotiations, order confirmation, and follow-up.
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, Quality, Planning, and Commercial/Export departments to ensure smooth execution of export orders.
Understand buyer requirements, product specifications, quality standards, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements.
Follow up on sample development, approvals, order placement, production status, inspection, and shipment.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and potential new markets.
Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective international customers.
Prepare sales forecasts, business development plans, customer reports, and management updates.
Achieve assigned sales/business development targets and contribute to the company`s export growth.
