Assistant Manager - Store

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all store activities, including receipt, storage, and issuance of feed, medicines, equipment, and other farm supplies.
• Coordinate with Farm/Production/Animal Nutrition teams regarding feed requirements.
• Maintain Bin Cards, Stock Ledgers, GRN, Material Requisition, Issue Slips and other store documents.
• Ensure proper identification, coding, labeling and location-wise storage of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices.
• Implement and enforce proper storage and safety procedures to maintain the quality of stock and comply with health regulations.
• Collaborate with farm management and departments to forecast inventory needs based on operational demands.
• Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and store performance.
• Lead and train store personnel to enhance efficiency and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records with a strong focus on transparency and accountability.
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of all store transactions into the ERP/Inventory Management System.
• Maintain complete and transparent documentation for all store transactions.
• Ensure all discrepancies are properly investigated and reported.
