Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer – Civil & Plumbing Maintenance Engineer

To ensure continuity of civil and plumbing maintenance operations in modern and high-rise buildings. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency, service quality, safety, and client satisfaction through timely preventive maintenance, corrective action, and effective contractor supervision.

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized Public University, MIST, DUET, or AUST

• Relevant academic qualification is mandatory.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil, plumbing, and modern building maintenance.

• Experience in high-rise commercial/residential buildings or facility management is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and plumbing maintenance of modern/high-rise buildings.

• Handle dampness, cracks, waterproofing, leakage, drainage, plumbing, sanitary, and related building maintenance issues.

• Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Supervise contractors/vendors to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.

• Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, work scopes, maintenance schedules, and reports.

• Coordinate with MEP, Facility Management, consultants, and contractors.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and organisational requirements.

Required Competencies

• Strong knowledge of civil, plumbing, waterproofing, and modern building maintenance.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, contractor management, BOQ, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
