Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Generate new corporate, government, travel agent, and event business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct regular client visits, sales calls, and business presentations.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and negotiate rates.
- Coordinate with banquet, front office, reservations, and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Promote hotel rooms, banquet facilities, restaurants, spa, and other hotel services.
- Manage digital marketing activities, including social media campaigns, online promotions, and content creation.
- Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Organize promotional events, exhibitions, roadshows, and hotel familiarization (FAM) tours.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Maintain the customer database and follow up on leads to maximize conversions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high guest satisfaction.
- Assist in preparing annual sales budgets and marketing plans.
- Work to achieve occupancy, banquet, and revenue goals while maintaining profitability.
- Support the Sales & Marketing Manager or Director in departmental planning, training, and team supervision.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with hotel policies and brand standards.
