B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Industrial Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in electronics/consumer durables manufacturing (TV, IFP, laptop, or similar assembly operations preferred).
Working knowledge of OEE, Lean manufacturing, FPY, and production planning concepts.
Strong people management and team leadership skills for a workforce of 50–100+.
Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint for reporting and presentations and outlook for communication.
Fluency in Bengali and English (written and spoken).
Production & Line Management
• Plan, supervise, and control daily production across multiple assembly lines (TV, IFP, laptop, speaker).
• Monitor line balancing, cycle times, and throughput to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate with Planning/PPC to align material availability with production runs.
• RMA Claiming, Communication with suppliers & clients.
• ERP Production management & Mail communication regarding production & office related matter.
Workforce & People Management
• Lead and supervise an approximately 50-person workforce, including line supervisors and operators.
• Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and manpower allocation across lines.
• Conduct on-the-job training and skill development for operators and line staff.
• Enforce discipline, safety compliance, and SOP adherence on the floor.
Quality & Process Improvement
• Monitor First Pass Yield (FPY), defect rates, and rework, and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Track and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) across assembly lines.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve line efficiency.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams on inline and end-of-line inspection standards.
Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production and performance reports (units produced, OEE, FPY, downtime analysis).
• Maintain SKD/CKD/CBU assembly documentation and BOM-level records where applicable.
• Support management with data for business reviews and presentations.
• Handle SRO related matters, HS Code classifications & custom bond facilities for ICT/Electronics products.
• Represent the company in meetings with BHTPA (Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority), ICT Ministry, and related government bodies.
• Prepare and manage official letters, applications, reports, and other documentation for government ministries, departments, and related offices in both Bangla and English.
• Design, develop, and maintain production floor layouts, including relevant drawings, documentation, and records to support efficient production operations.
Safety & Compliance
• Ensure ISO-compliant safety signage, floor visual management, and workplace safety standards are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with factory safety regulations and company SOPs.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Liaise with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Repair, Marketing, Finance and HR departments to resolve floor-level issues.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and line setup for new SKUs/models.
