Assistant Manager - IE & Planning

We are a leading 100% export-oriented circular knit garment manufacturer committed to operational efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a hands-on, analytical, and results-oriented professional to join our Head Office team.

The position will be based at the Head Office in Dhaka, with frequent visits to the factory to monitor production planning, Industrial Engineering activities, productivity, and implementation of improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and monitor production plans based on order status, capacity, SMV, delivery requirements, and factory capability.
• Closely monitor factory production plans, capacity utilization, efficiency, EPM, CPM, and achievement against targets.
• Coordinate with Factory Planning, IE and Production teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
• Review production performance data and identify bottlenecks, capacity gaps and areas for improvement.
• Support line balancing, layout planning, workflow improvement and manpower optimization.
• Review and ensure accuracy of SMV, operation breakdown, capacity calculation and production targets.
• Monitor EPM improvement and CPM reduction and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Review operator skill assessments and skill matrices and identify training and manpower requirements.
• Participate in pre-production meetings and highlight planning, capacity, manpower and production risks.
• Work closely with Merchandising, Production, IE, Quality, Cutting and other relevant departments to resolve operational issues.
• Analyze factory performance data and prepare regular reports and management updates.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities across factory operations.
• Support and guide the Planning and IE team in achieving agreed KPIs and continuous improvement targets.
