- Provide financial inputs on pricing, inventory control, operational costs and business performance.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Coordinate with relevant departments to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget utilization and analyze budget versus actual performance.
- Support management in strategic planning through financial analysis and forecasting.
- Identify significant variances and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual and other statutory audits.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of audit schedules, supporting documents and required information.
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls.
- Conduct periodic reviews, audits and spot checks to identify control gaps and streamline financial processes.
- Follow up on audit observations and support implementation of corrective actions.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory financial requirements.
- Coordinate tax payments and maintain proper documentation and records.
- Monitor changes in applicable tax and regulatory requirements and advise management accordingly.
- Support effective tax planning and compliance to minimize risks, penalties and unnecessary financial exposure.
Financial Feasibility & Business Support
- Conduct financial feasibility studies for new projects, investments and business initiatives.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and external consultants, where required, to gather financial and operational information.
- Prepare financial models, analysis and business cases for management review.
- Provide financial recommendations and inputs for strategic business decisions.
Credit Control & Receivables Management
- Monitor customer receivables and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
- Ensure adherence to the company's/group credit policy.
- Review customer creditworthiness and provide relevant financial inputs regarding credit facilities or extensions.
- Monitor overdue accounts and coordinate with relevant departments for timely recovery.
- Support effective working capital and cash-flow management.
Cost & Inventory Management
- Monitor operational and administrative costs and identify cost-control opportunities.
- Review inventory-related financial information and support effective inventory control.
- Analyze cost trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Ensure proper financial controls over inventory, expenses and operational transactions.
Team Coordination & Process Improvement
- Coordinate effectively with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, HR and other departments.
- Support and guide team members in completing assigned financial activities accurately and within deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and increased efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of ethics, confidentiality, accuracy and financial integrity.
