We are a 100% export-oriented renowned Denim Garments Manufacturing Company looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Compliance to lead factory compliance activities, maintain required records, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with local labor laws, buyer requirements, and international standards.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, factory regulations, buyer requirements, and international standards.
Monitor compliance with BSCI, SEDEX, BetterWork, WRAP, CTPAT and other applicable standards.
Conduct regular factory compliance inspections and identify non-compliance issues.
Monitor working hours, wages, overtime, leave, attendance, benefits, and employment practices.
Ensure proper implementation of policies related to child labor, forced labor, discrimination, harassment, and workplace conduct.
Maintain proper employee documentation and statutory records.
Coordinate and support buyer (Target, Aeropostale, Inditex, GAP), third-party, social, technical, and government audits.
Prepare required documents and evidence for audits.
Identify compliance gaps and prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
Coordinate with HR, Admin, Production, Safety, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve findings.
Monitor workplace health and safety conditions.
Ensure proper implementation of fire safety, emergency preparedness, PPE, first aid, and occupational health requirements.
Coordinate with relevant committees such as Health & Safety, Anti-Harassment, and Participation Committees.
Maintain compliance-related records, registers, licenses, certificates, policies, and reports.
