ASSISTANT MANAGER - ACCOUNTS

Outline Engineering Limited is looking for a responsible and experienced Assistant Manager Accounts who will independently manage the company`s overall accounting and financial record-keeping activities. The selected candidate will be the overall responsible person for the Accounts function and will report directly to Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• A. Accounting Operations & Record-Keeping

• Independently manage the company`s day-to-day accounting operations

• Maintain all books of accounts, vouchers, journals, ledgers and financial records

• Maintain company-wise and project-wise income, expense and cost records

• Maintain proper accounting files and ensure all records are kept up to date

• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and supported by necessary documents.

• B. Receivables & Payables

• Manage customer receivables, collections and outstanding balances

• Maintain supplier, contractor and other payable accounts

• Verify bills, vouchers, invoices and payment documents before processing

• Prepare salary, expense and other regular payment-related accounts.

• C. Cash, Bank & Cost Control

• Prepare and monitor cash and bank positions and perform bank reconciliation

• Monitor project expenses and maintain proper cost records

• D. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports for Management

• Handle VAT, Tax, AIT and audit-related accounting documentation

• Identify accounting errors, discrepancies and financial irregularities and take necessary corrective action

• E. Coordination, Supervision & Accountability

• Coordinate directly with Sales, Procurement, Construction, Admin and Management on accounts-related matters

• Supervise junior accounts staff, if any, and ensure their work is accurate and completed on time

• Maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information

• Take full responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the company`s accounting records

• Perform any other accounts and finance-related duties assigned by Management
