B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing company accounts.
Experience in EPZ / 100% export-oriented / foreign-owned manufacturing company will be preferred.
Sound practical knowledge of Bangladesh taxation, TDS, accounting and audit requirements.
Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
CA-CC / partly qualified CA, CMA or ACCA candidates will be preferred.
Able to independently handle company accounts and coordinate with external professional firms.
Good English communication and written reporting ability.
Maintain complete books of accounts and ensure timely monthly and yearly closing.
Prepare and review ledger, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets and other accounting records.
Handle company taxation, TDS and related statutory compliance work.
Prepare financial statements, schedules and documents for annual audit.
Coordinate with Commercial, Bank, Tax Consultant, CA Firm and Auditor as required.
Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
Prepare regular financial reports for management.
Support improvement of accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
