Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance

Job Context

Harrington is looking for a highly competent and experienced Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to manage day-to-day accounting operations, cash flow, bank reconciliation, VAT compliance, financial reporting, receivables, documentation, and financial control.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Showroom, Head Office, Petty Cash, and other cash flow statements.
• Record cash collection, bank collection, sales, collection, SOCL, and other financial transactions in accounting software. • Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
• Prepare accurate and timely Sales, Collection, and SOCL Reports.
• Prepare VAT Challans, VAT Returns, and Mushak 6.3 Challans and ensure proper VAT documentation.
• Coordinate with VAT and Tax Offices regarding statutory requirements when required.
• Prepare and verify Head Office, Showroom, Warehouse, Sales, and Petty Cash Vouchers.
• Maintain and update Accounts Receivable and SOCL Ledgers and monitor overdue receivables.
• Maintain proper VAT, Tax, Voucher, Payment, Sales, Company, and Import Documents.
• Maintain and update the Cheque Register and Cash Disbursement Records.
• Prepare Sales Team Incentive Calculations according to approved policies.
• Assist in preparation of Trial Balance and Financial Statements. • Coordinate with banks, vendors, third parties, VAT/Tax authorities, and internal departments.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies, applicable accounting standards, VAT and tax regulations.
• Perform other finance and accounting responsibilities assigned by management.
