Assistant Head Teacher

Assist the Head Teacher in curriculum planning and implementation for Play to Class X (Bengali medium).

Supervise and evaluate the daily performance of Assistant Teachers (classroom management, lesson delivery, student engagement).

Prepare the routine (class schedule) and monitor its proper execution.

Organize and oversee internal examinations, including question paper setting, scheduling invigilation, and publishing results.

Conduct regular classroom observations/spot visits to ensure teaching quality.

Handle student admission, transfer, and withdrawal processes.

Manage Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTAs) and address parental grievances.

Maintain the Service Book and attendance register for all staff members.

Act as the Officer-in-Charge in the absence of the Head Teacher (signing official documents, handling emergency decisions).

Ensure the proper maintenance of school records, registers, and the filing system.
