Job Summary

Hishabee Technology Limited is looking for an energetic and target-oriented Area Supplier Manager (ASM) to manage the distributor/supplier network within an assigned area of Khulna Division.

The ASM will be responsible for onboarding new distributors, managing active distributors, driving order volume and Puji Credit utilisation, and ensuring retailer activation and reorder through the managed distributor network.

The role involves extensive fieldwork, daily distributor visits, digital reporting, KYC compliance, and coordination with the assigned Field Assistant and distributors' Sales Representatives (SRs).

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly targets for onboarding new distributors/suppliers in the assigned territory.

• Manage and develop a portfolio of distributors, ensuring regular ordering and business activity.

• Activate distributors who have been onboarded but have not yet placed their first order.

• Drive credit/fund utilisation and repeat orders across the distributor portfolio.

• Ensure distributors' Sales Representatives (SRs) actively work on idle retail-shop lists.

• Coordinate with the assigned Field Assistant to improve retailer activation and reorder.

• Monitor distributor performance and identify opportunities to increase order volume.

• Follow up on due invoices and maintain strong collections discipline.

• Collect accurate, first-hand KYC information during distributor onboarding.

• Maintain zero tolerance for copied, inaccurate, or fabricated customer data.

• Conduct daily field visits and maintain proper records of all calls and visits.

• Submit daily activity and performance reports through designated digital systems.

• Maintain strong relationships with distributors and support them in resolving operational issues.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated based on:

• Distributor onboarding vs. monthly target

• Active supplier/distributor percentage

• Credit/fund utilisation percentage

• Retailer reorder and retention through managed distributors

• Collections rate

• KYC and data-integrity compliance

• Overall field productivity and target achievement

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in field sales, distribution, FMCG, fintech, or similar roles.

• Strong knowledge of the assigned area within Khulna Division.

• Good communication and relationship-management skills.

• Target-oriented with the ability to work independently in the field.

• Comfortable using smartphone applications and digital reporting tools.

• Must own a motorcycle and possess a valid driving licence.

• Must be based in, or willing to work in, the assigned area of Khulna.

• Willingness to conduct regular field visits is essential.

Important: The BDT 3,000 travel allowance is included within the BDT 15,000 gross salary. The performance incentive of up to BDT 5,000 is paid monthly based on achievement of applicable KPI targets and minimum eligibility gates.
