Area Sales Manager (Imported Food & Beverage)

Job Context

• Akij Commodities Ltd., a concern of Akij Resource, is engaged in the import and distribution of food and beverage products sourced from different countries. The company is expanding its portfolio of international food & beverage brands and nationwide distribution network. We are looking for a result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales growth, strengthen distribution, develop the market, and ensure effective execution of sales strategies within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales, distribution, revenue, and collection targets for the assigned territory in line with company objectives and approved business plans.
• Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans covering outlet expansion, product availability, sales volume, market coverage, and achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Manage and develop distributors, dealers, retailers, wholesalers, and other channel partners to ensure effective distribution and sustainable business growth.
• Drive numeric and weighted distribution by expanding product availability across General Trade, Modern Trade, Horoeka, institutional, and other relevant channels.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the field sales team, including Sales Representatives and other assigned team members, ensuring proper route planning, daily productivity, market coverage, and target achievement.
• Monitor market execution and product visibility, ensuring proper merchandising, display, pricing, promotional activities, and availability of imported F&B products at the outlet level.
• Develop new markets and business opportunities by identifying potential outlets, customers, territories, channels, and institutional accounts for portfolio expansion.
• Monitor competitors and market dynamics, including competitor pricing, promotions, new product launches, distribution activities, consumer trends, and market opportunities, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Manage sales forecasting and inventory requirements by coordinating with distributors, Supply Chain, and Sales Management to maintain optimum stock levels and minimize stock-outs or excess inventory.
• Ensure effective collection and credit management by monitoring outstanding payments, distributor credit limits, collection performance, and overdue accounts in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Prepare and submit regular sales and market reports, including sales achievement, distribution, outlet coverage, collection, inventory, competitor activities, team productivity, and territory performance.
