Advocate / Legal Officer

• Handle all legal matters of the company and provide legal advice to management.

• Ensure compliance with applicable Labour Laws, Company Laws, Factory Laws, and other regulatory requirements.

• Handle and follow up on labour, civil, criminal, and other legal cases involving the company.

• Prepare, review, and respond to legal notices, show-cause notices, affidavits, petitions, and other legal documents.

• Draft, review, and verify contracts, agreements, MOUs, lease agreements, supplier/service agreements, and other commercial documents.

• Provide legal support regarding employee disciplinary actions, termination, dismissal, grievances, and labour disputes.

• Handle legal matters related to land, property, lease, mutation, registration, and ownership documentation.

• Liaise with courts, police stations, government authorities, Labour Office, and other regulatory bodies when required.

• Coordinate with external lawyers and legal consultants for ongoing cases.

• Maintain proper records of court cases, legal notices, agreements, licenses, and other legal documents.

• Identify potential legal risks and advise management on appropriate preventive and corrective actions.

• Support HR, Administration, Compliance, and Management on legal and regulatory matters.

• Represent the company before relevant authorities when authorized by management.

• Perform any other legal duties assigned by management.

Land & Property Law Management

• ​Conduct due diligence and legal verification of land/property documents (Khatian, Mutation, Deed, Search Report, Mouza map, etc.).

• ​Draft, review, and finalize land purchase deeds, lease agreements, tenancy contracts, and mortgage documents.

• ​Manage land registration processes, mutation, non-encumbrance certificate (NEC) collection, and tax payments.

• ​Resolve land disputes, boundary conflicts, and handle land-related litigation or arbitration.

• ​ General Legal Support & Regulatory Affairs

• ​Draft, vet, and negotiate various commercial agreements, contracts, and legal notices.

• ​Manage external law firms or senior legal counsels for complex litigation matters.

• ​Liaise with government agencies, land registries, local authorities, and law enforcement agencies as required.

• ​Provide proactive legal opinions to executive management to mitigate corporate risks.
