Requirements:
Candidates with hands-on experience in factory/industrial accounting, especially in export-oriented garments, textile, or bag manufacturing units, will be given preference
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounts, preferably in a garments or textile manufacturing company.
Sound knowledge of payroll processing and journal entries
Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar) is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
We are a leading 100% export-oriented bag manufacturing unit based in Dhaka. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting functions, with a heavy focus on payroll administration and routine financial tracking.
Special Requirement: Applicants must have prior experience in the Garments & Textile sector to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
Process monthly payroll, overtime, attendance-related calculations and festival related bonuses for factory workers and staff
Maintain accurate records of employee salary and other statutory deductions
Support preparation of vouchers, invoices, and other accounting documents
Assist in daily cash flow tracking and petty cash management.
Maintain clean systematic files for commercial invoices, bank statements, and utility bills.
Help senior management prepare documentation for monthly or annual financial audits.
