<p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal;background:white;"><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height: normal;background:white;">As an Academic Counsellor you will be responsible for advising customers on the features, benefits and uses of Shikho and ultimately growing the customer base by driving multi-year and multi-product sales. The role means you will have to focus on building deep relationships with new and existing customers via cold-calling. We are looking for experienced sales professionals who are looking to take their career to the next level by working for an internationally venture backed fast growing technology start-up.</p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal;background:white;"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal;background:white;"><strong>Key Roles & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Advise students and parents for their learning needs through structured counselling sessions.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Fix appointments and conduct online demo sessions on a daily basis alongside follow up sessions.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Understand customer profile and their specific problems to explain the implications of ineffective learning methods.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Create the need for smart learning and advise student-parent to buy a Shikho subscription as a solution.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Handle objectives and price negotiations with respect and credibility to generate sales revenues.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Continuously learn and upgrade product knowledge and sales skills to achieve and exceed growing sales targets.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Possess a sound knowledge and understanding of consumer (students and parents) behavior.</li></ul><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal;background:white;"><strong>Ideal Profile:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Understand customer psychology and is able to empathize with students and parents.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Ability to drive commercial goals by meeting sales targets.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Has studied the Bangla medium National Curriculum for SSC and HSC and has a very good understanding of the curriculum and syllabus.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Enthusiastic and willing to work relentlessly to achieve and exceed sales targets to drive commissions and career progression.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Thrive in a fast-paced and self-driven working environment.</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Have really good communication skills in Bangla</li><li style="color:black;text-align:justify;line-height:normal; background:white;">Has minimum 6 months of Tele-sales/Call center experience in direct-to-consumer target-driven roles.</li></ul><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal;background:white;"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal;background:white;"><strong>The important bits:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li style="color:black;line-height:normal; background:white;">Job type: Contractual, 6 Days a Week (Saturday to Thursday), 10:00AM to 7:00PM (or equivalent hours)</li><li style="color:black;line-height:normal; background:white;">
