Job Description

We are seeking a smart, energetic, and enthusiastic Protocol and Government Liaison Officer to manage comprehensive protocol services and government relations. This role is responsible for providing complete, end-to-end airport support—including arrival and departure assistance, immigration and customs facilitation, transportation, and hospitality—for the Chairman, Board of Directors, VIPs, and international delegates. Additionally, the position involves coordinating statutory approvals, licenses, permits, and regulatory compliance with various government authorities, all while representing the organization with the utmost professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. Key Responsibilities Airport Protocol Responsibilities: Ensure comprehensive, end-to-end airport protocol services for the Chairman, Board of Directors, senior management, international delegates, VIP guests, corporate partners, and expatriate personnel. Coordinate domestic and international arrivals and departures, overseeing flight schedules, ticket confirmations, airport receptions, meet-and-greet services, baggage handling, immigration assistance, customs clearance, and VIP lounge access. Liaise closely with embassies, high commissions, and international agencies to facilitate visas, official documentation, and necessary protocol requirements. Arrange airport transfers, hotel accommodations, dedicated transportation, security protocols, and hospitality arrangements for visiting guests. Maintain strong working relationships with airport authorities, airline staff, immigration and customs officials, security agencies, protocol officers, and ground handling teams to ensure seamless logistics. Execute all protocol operations with a high level of professionalism, strict confidentiality, and polished corporate etiquette. Act as the primary interface between the organization and all government ministries, departments, directorates, regulatory bodies, local administrations, and public sector institutions. Cultivate and sustain robust professional relationships with government officials and regulatory stakeholders to ensure seamless business operations. Liaise effectively with key agencies, including the RJSC, NBR, Customs, BIDA, BEZA, BEPZA, Bangladesh Bank, Department of Environment (DoE), CAAB, City Corporations, Police, Passport & Immigration, and utility providers. Draft, compile, and submit official correspondence, formal applications, supporting documentation, agreements, and regulatory filings on behalf of the company. Coordinate and manage regulatory audits, government inspections, compliance visits, and official meetings, ensuring all findings are resolved promptly. Uphold full compliance with all relevant statutory laws, regulatory rules, and company policies while practicing absolute confidentiality and integrity. Bachelor/Honors

Prior experience in protocol services, government relations, and the FMCG sector, preferably within a large group of companies. A smart, dynamic, and energetic individual with an enthusiastic approach to work. Sound understanding of government administrative procedures, regulatory compliance framework, and statutory documentation requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft official correspondence fluently in both Bangla and English. Hands-on experience directly engaging with government ministries, regulatory authorities, and various public sector institutions. Willingness to travel frequently to government offices, external agencies, and project sites as operational demands require.
