Job Purpose : The Coordinator/Manager- UCEP Welfare Trust handles the strategy, coordination, and execution of all welfare programs, financial systems, and administrative functions for the organization. This position guarantees proper institutional governance, open and transparent fund oversight, premium services for members, and the strategic rollout of welfare guidelines in strict compliance with the Trust's core principles, structural standards, and external regulatory obligations. Job Responsibilities: Welfare Trust Fund Management; Set up, direct, and fortify the UCEP Welfare Trust Fund to assist beneficiaries with education, technical training, employment, and livelihood projects. Direct the collection, assignment, and payout of welfare capital following authorized guidelines. Keep precise, transparent, and current financial logs covering contributions, financing, grants, and payouts. Pinpoint and build durable alliances and funding channels with local, national, and international public and private entities, donors, and patrons. Create and execute actionable plans for resource gathering, fundraising, and the long-term financial viability of the Trust. Keep a comprehensive and continually refreshed database tracking Trust members, recipients, and all program initiatives. Regulatory Approvals and Compliance; Secure all required state clearances, including registering the Trust with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms. Acquire necessary tax certifications, filings, and formal tax exemptions for the Trust from the National Board of Revenue (NBR). Secure the proper registration, legal protection, and statutory compliance of the Trust’s logo and related intellectual property. Policy Implementation, Governance & Legal Activities; Enforce strict compliance with the Trust's policies, interior regulations, and all relevant legislative requirements. Assess and suggest updates to welfare policies and frameworks to preserve operational relevance and compliance. Lead internal and external financial reviews while ensuring swift action on audit feedback and observations. Consult and maintain close ties with legal experts and public agencies—such as the Land Office, Sub-Registrar, DC Office, and the Secretariat—for statutory documentation and legal matters. Planning, Development, Administrative and Operational Support of Welfare Trust; Conduct market research, data analysis, and benchmarking to enhance the performance and longevity of the fund. Formulate annual target plans, operational timelines, and budgetary allocations for the Trust. Draft and submit routine financial and performance reviews to executive management, committee members, auditors, and regulators. Arrange and manage official meetings, handling logistics, records, agenda preparation, minutes, and tracking decision execution. Partner with HR, Finance, and related units to maintain frictionless and efficient welfare workflows. Keep an organized, safe, and easily retrievable archive of all Trust documents, resolutions, and transactions. Maintain strict confidentiality, prompt disclosure, and top-tier metrics for all documentation and record retention. Oversee the daily administrative workflows and operational tasks of the Welfare Trust. Fulfill alternative tasks delegated by UCEP Management or the Board of Trustees as required. Experience
Prior experience managing welfare trusts or related fund operations is highly desirable. Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali, with strong skills in drafting minutes, proposals, and official documents. Comprehensive understanding of institutional compliance, governance structures, and regulatory directives. Advanced proficiency in utilizing MS Office applications and administrative digital record systems. Strong structural planning, analytical assessment, and multitasking performance. Driven, highly flexible, and dependable professional showing exceptional ethical standards and respect for confidentiality. Demonstrated capability to operate autonomously or collaboratively within groups, with the flexibility to travel when necessary. The upper age threshold is fixed at 40 years, though management may adjust this criteria for highly skilled or experienced applicants.
