What it covers
Tuition, a living stipend, airfare and allowances for Masters and PhD study in the UK, aimed at students from developing Commonwealth countries.
Who can apply
Bangladeshi citizens with at least a first or strong upper second class degree, who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. Applications go through a nominating body — in Bangladesh, usually the Ministry of Education (UGC) or a selected university.
How to apply
- Check the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission site for the year's themes and nominating bodies.
- Apply to the nominating body in Bangladesh as well as on the CSC's own online system.
- Submit a development impact statement aligned with the CSC's six themes.
- Secure admission to an eligible UK university.
