What it covers
A one-off grant towards the costs of graduate study, for women from developing countries already enrolled at an accredited institution. It supplements existing funding rather than replacing it.
Who can apply
Women from a World Bank member developing country, including Bangladesh, aged over the programme's minimum, already enrolled in a graduate programme and committed to working for the wellbeing of women and children in their home country. You must already be studying — this is not an entry scholarship.
How to apply
- Confirm you are already enrolled: applications from people who have not yet started are not accepted.
- Check which regional round covers your institution.
- Submit the application with essays on your intended work after the degree.
- Provide references from your institution.

- It is for students already in a programme — plan it as second-year support, not as a way in.
