What it covers
Tuition and credit fees, accommodation, insurance, a monthly allowance and a return air ticket, for programmes taught in English at partner universities in Taiwan.
Who can apply
Nationals of Taiwan ICDF's partner countries. Bangladesh's eligibility and the list of open programmes are set each year, so confirm both on the official page before applying.
How to apply
- Check the current list of partner countries and eligible programmes.
- Apply to the Taiwanese university for admission, following its own process and deadline.
- Apply to Taiwan ICDF separately through its online system.
- Send the required signed documents to the Taiwanese embassy or representative office.

- Two recommendation letters
- English language test

Tips from successful applicants
- Two separate applications are required and both must be complete — one without the other fails.
- Only listed programmes are covered; a good department that is not on the list cannot be funded this way.
- Applying early leaves time for the document legalisation, which is slow.
