University and college fees, a personal stipend, and travel to and from Oxford, for two years in the first instance and sometimes a third.
Who can apply
Bangladesh has no constituency of its own, so Bangladeshi applicants apply through the Global constituency, which covers countries without a dedicated one. Check the current constituency list and its age and degree requirements before you start — they differ between constituencies.
How to apply
- Confirm on the Rhodes site which constituency you are eligible for and read its specific rules.
- Prepare a personal statement, a CV and the required number of references.
- Submit the Rhodes application by the constituency's deadline.
- Shortlisted candidates go through interviews, usually in two stages.
- Apply to Oxford for your course separately — the scholarship does not admit you.

Tips from successful applicants
- The Global constituency is the most competitive route of all; treat it as a long shot alongside other applications, not instead of them.

- Winning Rhodes does not admit you to Oxford; you still need the department's offer.
