Who can apply
International students admitted to a research degree (MPhil or PhD). Selection is competitive on academic record and research potential, and is made by the university, not by a central body.
How to apply
- Find a supervisor at the Australian university whose research matches yours.
- Apply for admission to the research degree, usually with a research proposal.
- Tick the scholarship consideration box, or submit the university's separate RTP application, before its round closes.
- Selection results usually follow two to four months later.
