Who can apply
International applicants, including Bangladeshi citizens, who register for and win the Open Doors olympiad in their subject area.
How to apply
- Register on the Open Doors site during the registration window.
- Sit the online qualifying round in your chosen subject.
- Sit the final round, also online.
- Winners choose a participating university and are admitted to a tuition-free place.

- Portfolio for some subject tracks
Tips from successful applicants
- It is a contest, not a conventional application — prepare for the subject exam rather than polishing essays.
- Living costs and accommodation are not always included; budget for them separately.
- A separate route, the Russian Government quota, is administered through Rossotrudnichestvo and has its own application.
