International students under the stated age limit with an excellent academic record (commonly a CGPA of at least 3.50 or a first-class degree) and a research proposal in a priority field.
How to apply
- Obtain an offer or letter of acceptance from a Malaysian university.
- Apply on the Ministry's MIS portal during the announced round.
- Submit a research proposal in one of the priority fields.
- Await the Ministry's selection decision.
