What it covers
Tuition, a monthly subsistence and housing allowance, books, medical insurance and travel, for a master's at a participating institution in the Asia-Pacific region.
Who can apply
Nationals of ADB's borrowing member countries, including Bangladesh, with a bachelor's degree, at least two years of full-time work experience and, usually, an age limit of 35. Applications go to the university, not to ADB.
How to apply
- Pick a programme from the list of participating academic institutions.
- Apply to that institution for admission and for the ADB-JSP scholarship at the same time.
- Meet the institution's deadline — ADB does not accept applications directly.
- The institution nominates candidates to ADB for approval.

Tips from successful applicants
- Only the listed institutions participate; check the list before you settle on a university.
- Scholars are expected to return home after the degree, and the commitment is taken seriously.
- The two-year work experience requirement is counted from graduation, not from any internship.
