The Condensed Matter Division of Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI) invites
applications for T. D. Lee Postdoctoral Scholar starting immediately.
Located in Shanghai, the most international city of China, TDLI is an
international institute aiming to host world-leading scientific
researches and activities. The initial appointment is for 3 years with
possible renewal of additional years. The T. D. Lee Postdoctoral
Scholar is encouraged to work independently, in collaboration with
faculty members and visitors of TDLI. Successful candidates are
expected to conduct outstanding theoretical or experimental research
in the fields of:
- Unconventional and topological superconductivity
- Quantum transport in low-dimensional systems
- High Temperature superconductivity and strong correlated systems
- Nonequilibrium physics in bulk and molecular quantum materials
- Quantum information and quantum optics
- Casimir physics and light matter interaction The T. D. Lee Postdoctoral Scholar offers 312K RMB of annual salary with health insurance, and an annual research grant of 50,000 RMB. If selected for other talent programs, the benefits will be increased accordingly. Application materials includes CV, publication list, research statement, and three recommendation letters. Applicants who are also selected for the SJTU Siyuan Postdoctoral Fellowship will get 450,000 CNY annual salary, plus a 30,000 CNY settlement allowance. Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI) was founded in November 2016, following the proposal of Professor Tsung-Dao Lee (Nobel Prize in Physics 1957), to promote fundamental science and to provide a platform for international scientific communications and collaborations. TDLI aims to become a world-leading research institute in Physics and Astronomy. Currently, the institute is developing frontier research programs in the fields of Quantum Science and Technology, Particle & Nuclear Physics, and Astronomy & Astrophysics.
