About this position
The Public Health Research Center at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate in Population Genomics to work with the UAE Healthy Future Study, a cohort of 15,000 Emirati nationals investigating genetic, environmental, and lifestyle determinants of complex diseases. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to large-scale population genomic analyses, with a focus on whole-genome sequencing and multi-omics data and the genetic architecture of complex traits. The PHRC offers a multidisciplinary environment with access to genomic, clinical and lifestyle phenotypes, and high-performance computing infrastructure.
Applicants must hold a PhD in human genetics, genetic epidemiology, biostatistics, computational biology, or a related field, with a strong publication record and experience analyzing large-scale genomic datasets in HPC environments. Applicants must be within 5 years post receipt of their PhD. Terms of employment include a competitive salary and benefits.
