About this position

• Postdoctoral research positions are available in the group of Michael
• Vogl at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM).
• Candidates with expertise in strongly correlated electron systems,
• quantum magnetism, and emergent non-equilibrium phases of matter,
• quantum information and related fields are encouraged to apply. The
• successful applicant will join the research environment at KFUPM in a
• newly established center focusing on Quantum Condensed Matter Physics
• and Quantum Computing (Interdisciplinary Research Center for Advanced
• Quantum Computing, AQC). This center is headed by famous theorist
• Daniel Loss Qualifications: PhD in Physics (completed within the last
• 5 years or near completion); strong background in theoretical
• condensed matter physics; experience with analytical many-body
• methods, field theory, and/or numerical techniques is a plus. Details:
