About this position

  • The National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS) Physics Division,
  • Taiwan, invites applications for several postdoctoral research
  • positions in Theoretical High Energy Physics, Particle Phenomenology,
  • Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics, and Cosmology.
  • The positions are normally for one year and are renewable for a second
  • and a third year, subject to satisfactory research performance and
  • funding availability. The successful applicants will have the
  • flexibility to work at other institutions associated with the NCTS
  • physics division in Taiwan, in addition to the headquarter site, in
  • order to conduct the research with the appropriate faculties. The
  • nominal starting date is September 1, 2027, but this is negotiable.
  • The salary will be commensurate with the applicant's research
  • experiences, and we provide excellent nation-wide health insurance as
  • well as economical class airfare for relocation. The position comes
  • with ample travel and research grant support. The Theoretical and
  • Computational Astrophysics Group (TG2.3) provides NTD 100,000 per year
  • for this purpose.
