About this position
The Faculty of Life Sciences, Institute of Psychology, invites applications for a
Full Professorship for ‘Psychological Research Methods’ (W3)
to be appointed at the next possible date.
The future holder of this position should cover the entire spectrum of psychological methodology and teach courses in the bachelor's and master's degree programs in psychology. The position seeks a scientist with excellent scientific credentials and international visibility through publications and third-party funding, as well as international visibility. The professorship is anchored in the Human Developmental Dynamics focus area of the Institute of Psychology and at the same time forms the methodological basis for the entire discipline.
It is desirable that the research profile fits this focus area and that the candidate has proven expertise in the field of multivariate statistics, especially in longitudinal data modeling. A willingness to collaborate with other disciplines is required.
The W3 professorship includes a teaching load of 9 SWS. Teaching duties include the modules Methodology I and II in the bachelor's program as well as introductory and advanced modules in methodology in all master programs of the institute.
The professorship is located on the Campus Berlin Adlershof.
The applicants must meet the legal requirements for professorial appointments in accordance with § 100 of the `Berliner Hochschulgesetz`.
