About this position

• The Lodha Theoretical Physics Institute (LTPI), Mumbai, invites
• applications for regular postdoctoral and Postdoctoral fellow
• positions from new and recent PhDs working in fundamental theoretical
• physics.Position and Term Postdoctoral appointments are nominally for
• one year, with the possibility of extension typically for three years
• based on mutual discussion and performance.

• SalaryPostdoc position: Gross salary of INR 28-40 lakh per annum,
• inclusive of housing, statutory contributions and applicable taxes.
• Fellowship Postdoc position:Salary to be determined at the time of the
• offer. Final terms will be discussed and confirmed at the time of
• offer.
• Eligibility
• Open to highly motivated scientists who hold, or expect to shortly
• hold, a PhD in theoretical physics or a closely related field.
• Expected start date: 01st August 2027, though this is negotiable.
