Job description for this post-doc research fellow
position.
- This position will be supported by our DoD project for two years.
- The object of this DoD project is to investigating possible
- mechanism underlying lung tumorigenesis and develop potential
- biomarker for the early detection of lung cancer.
- The “to be hired post-doc fellow” will participate in this research
- study by specially focusing on functional analysis of
- cancer-associated genes by using in vitro and in vivo models and
- developing cancer biomarkers.
- The candidates should have PhD or MD with strong background in
- molecular genetics. The candidates should be very familiar with the
- techniques, including Cell culture, Gene transfection, RNA extract,
- RT-PCR; Real-time quantitative PCR, DNA cloning, Plasmid
- construction and transformation, Western blotting, Reporter assays,
- CHIP, MTT assay, Flow cytometry, Transgenic mouse, xenograft animal
- model, Florescence microscopy, Confocal microscopy, Paraffin
- section, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, et al.
Qualifications :

The candidates should have PhD or MD with strong background in
molecular genetics.
