- A Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) focused on indirect teaching

Additional Requirements
- Grading & Assessment: Score quizzes, exams, essays, and
- homework assignments accurately using provided rubrics and answer
- keys.
- Course Material Setup: Help Faculty organize and format syllabus
- content, lecture slides, reading lists, and multimedia resources
- under faculty direction.
- Blackboard Administration: Help Faculty manage the online course
- portal (Blackboard), post announcements, update digital gradebooks,
- and upload files.
- Student Support Services: Help Faculty hold non-instructional
- office hours or virtual help desks to answer student questions
- regarding grades, logistics, or assignment formatting. Requirements
- & Qualifications
Enrollment Status: Current active enrollment in a relevant graduate
degree program (Master's) at Wichita State University.
Academic Standing: Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA (typically 3.0
or higher) and good academic standing in the department.
Required Experience
- To be eligible for an assistantship, students must be admitted to a
- degree program in either full or conditional standing. Students
- admitted on probation or placed on academic probation following
- admission may be eligible for assistantship awards under certain
- circumstances.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a
- computer and other office equipment including but not limited to
- phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate
- with others and accurately exchange information.
