About the Opportunity
Summary:
- Professor Tang is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work
- in her laboratory. The selected candidate will perform basic
- research on diffusiophoresis in microfluidics channels
- experimentally. The particle dynamics under solute concentration
- gradient will be analyzed and new methods of manipulating particles
- in complex geometries will be developed. Application relevant
- materials will be examined such as drug delivery. Publications in
- multiple high-impact journals are expected. The selected candidate
- is also expected to maintain the laboratory and exercises
- functional supervision over graduate and undergraduate students.
- The appointment generally does not extend beyond two years.

Qualifications:
- Having a PhD degree from all science and engineering majors,
- especially Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics,
- and Materials Science. Highly motivated. Having experimental
- microfluidics background is preferred.

Compensation Grade/Pay Type:
108S
Expected Hiring Range:
$60,315.00 - $85,192.50
- With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend
- on several factors, which may include your education, experience,
- location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay
- comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
- Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to
- change.
