About the Opportunity
Job Summary
- The department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Institute
- for Intelligent Networked Systems (INSI) is seeking a Postdoctoral
- Research Fellow to work on the design, development, and realization
- of future communications technologies. You will be part of the team
- and contribute to ongoing developments in theory, algorithms and
- translation to practice in new applications.
Qualifications:
- Must have a PhD or equivalent in engineering or mathematics. Must
- be able to undertake full-time research and scholarship. Must be
- able to work in collaborative multi-institutional teams with senior
- and junior scholars. Strong foundations in information theory,
- communications and applied probability are required. Clear writing
- and presentation skills are essential.
- A one-year post, with a possible extension to two years depending
- on availability of funds and sustained excellence in meeting the
- duties and expectations is offered.

Compensation Grade/Pay Type:
108S
Expected Hiring Range:
$60,315.00 - $85,192.50
- With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend
- on several factors, which may include your education, experience,
- location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay
- comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
- Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to
- change.
