About this position
We seek a Postdoc to conduct research on hornwort and/or cyanobacteria diversity and evolution. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Evolutionary Biology, Bioinformatics, Phylogenetics, Genetics, biochemistry, or related fields and evidence of strong research productivity.
The Postdoc will be responsible for: 1) conducting laboratory research, 2) data analysis, and 3) preparation of results for publication. The postdoc will also assist the PI (Fay-Wei Li) in overseeing lab projects and helping to train graduate students and undergraduates. Opportunities will be available for the postdoc to explore their own side projects related to the overall goals of the lab research program.
