About WARMS
WARMS 2027 is the Third International Conference on Water Resources Management and Sustainability: Solutions for Arid Regions, a climate change conference. It takes place on 26 January 2027 in United Arab Emirates University, United Arab Emirates. Full papers are due 1 October 2026.
The National Water and Energy Center at UAE University is pleased to announce the Third International Conference on “Water Resources Management and Sustainability: Solutions for Arid Regions,” to be held from 26–28 January 2027 in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.
In addition to the technical sessions, pre-conference workshops will be held on 25 January, followed by a post-conference field visit on 29 January. For registered participants, attendance at the workshops, Gala Dinner, lunches during the conference, social events, a field visit, and local transportation will be offered at no additional cost beyond the conference registration fee. We cordially invite you to submit a short abstract or full-length paper for consideration. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts, while accepted full-length papers will be included in a Special Volume of the Water Science and Technology Library published by Springer.

Before you submit
- Read the full call for papers — page limits, template (IEEE, ACM, LNCS …) and whether review is double-blind.
- Deadlines are usually 23:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE) — convert to Bangladesh time (UTC+6) and aim to submit a day early.
- At least one author normally has to register and present; budget for the fee and, for in-person events, a visa appointment well before the conference.
- Look for student travel grants and volunteer programmes — most large conferences run both, with deadlines soon after notification.
