About Summer OERS
Summer OERS 2027 is the Summer Oxford Education Research Symposium, an education symposium. It takes place on 28 June 2027 in Oxford University, United Kingdom. Full papers are due 9 May 2027.
The Oxford Education Research Symposium is a forum for the presentation of papers and discourse by scholars who have a particular interest in the theory and practice of universal education. For Symposium purposes, the nature of education research is defined broadly, encompassing the various aspects of the productive expansion of knowledge. View suggested topics.
You are invited to make a presentation and lead a discussion on an aspect of education, or you may wish to participate as a non-presenting observer. Your disquisition must adhere to an abstract of about 250 words approved by the Programme Committee of the Symposium.
You are also encouraged to submit a full paper, in keeping with your abstract, which may be published in an appropriate journal or book of conference proceedings. All papers presented for publication or inclusion in books or sponsored journals will be subject to peer review by external readers.

Before you submit
- Read the full call for papers — page limits, template (IEEE, ACM, LNCS …) and whether review is double-blind.
- Deadlines are usually 23:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE) — convert to Bangladesh time (UTC+6) and aim to submit a day early.
- At least one author normally has to register and present; budget for the fee and, for in-person events, a visa appointment well before the conference.
- Look for student travel grants and volunteer programmes — most large conferences run both, with deadlines soon after notification.
