About SELAC
SELAC 2027 is the VI International Congress on Student Engagement in Learning and in the Academic Community: Challenges of Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, a psychology conference. It takes place on 23 June 2027 in Faro, Portugal. Full papers are due 31 December 2026, with abstracts by 1 October 2026.
The VI International Congress on Student Engagement in Learning and in the Academic Community: Challenges of Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (SELAC-27) is an international scientific forum, held in a hybrid format (in person and online), dedicated to the study of student engagement in learning and in the academic community.
Continuing a journey begun in 2013, SELAC-27 brings together researchers and education professionals from different countries, promoting the sharing of scientific knowledge, evidence-based practices, and critical reflection on the role of student engagement at different levels of education.

Before you submit
- Read the full call for papers — page limits, template (IEEE, ACM, LNCS …) and whether review is double-blind.
- Deadlines are usually 23:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE) — convert to Bangladesh time (UTC+6) and aim to submit a day early.
- At least one author normally has to register and present; budget for the fee and, for in-person events, a visa appointment well before the conference.
- Look for student travel grants and volunteer programmes — most large conferences run both, with deadlines soon after notification.
