About ICBFP
ICBFP 2026 is the The 9th International Conference on Banking and Finance Perspectives, an economics conference. It takes place on 22 October 2026 in Famagusta, Cyprus. Full papers are due 2 October 2026.
The Department of Banking and Finance at Eastern Mediterranean University invites submissions to ICBFP'2026, held 22–23 October 2026 in Famagusta, North Cyprus. This year's theme is Digital Finance: Cryptocurrencies, Fintech and CBDCs, though papers across all areas of banking and finance are welcome — including green/sustainable finance, risk management, Islamic finance, corporate governance, capital markets, financial modelling and econometrics, energy economics, and microfinance.
Abstracts and full papers undergo double-blind review. Selected full papers will be published in the Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics (indexed in Scopus and Web of Science).

Before you submit
- Read the full call for papers — page limits, template (IEEE, ACM, LNCS …) and whether review is double-blind.
- Deadlines are usually 23:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE) — convert to Bangladesh time (UTC+6) and aim to submit a day early.
- At least one author normally has to register and present; budget for the fee and, for in-person events, a visa appointment well before the conference.
- Look for student travel grants and volunteer programmes — most large conferences run both, with deadlines soon after notification.
