EGen 2027 is the The 7th European Conference on Aging & Gerontology (EGen2027), a humanities conference. It takes place on 15 July 2027 in London, United Kingdom. Full papers are due 22 January 2027.

We are very excited to host The 7th European Conference on Aging & Gerontology (EGen2027), the sister conference to The Asian Conference on Aging & Gerontology (AGen), which has been held in Japan since 2015.
IAFOR has joined efforts with The Bartlett Real Estate Institute at UCL, UK, the National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging (NACDA) at the University of Michigan, the IAFOR Research Centre at OSIPP, Osaka University, Japan, and academic leaders and thinkers of all disciplines from a wide range of prestigious institutions to host a conference that brings together all disciplines to discuss one of the greatest challenges humanity currently faces: the ageing of the population. Scholars from practically every discipline are welcomed to bring their perspective, as ageing involves almost all aspects of humanities, science and policy. With thematic streams covering many disciplines such as the built environment, frailty, loneliness, the silver economy, and others, EGen2026 will again provide a great opportunity for researchers.

Before you submit
- Read the full call for papers — page limits, template (IEEE, ACM, LNCS …) and whether review is double-blind.
- Deadlines are usually 23:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE) — convert to Bangladesh time (UTC+6) and aim to submit a day early.
- At least one author normally has to register and present; budget for the fee and, for in-person events, a visa appointment well before the conference.
- Look for student travel grants and volunteer programmes — most large conferences run both, with deadlines soon after notification.
