Scope
Recent advances in generative, multimodal, and agentic artificial intelligence are transforming educational technologies from isolated tools into coordinated and adaptive systems capable of supporting teachers, learners, families, patients, and professionals. The AIM-ED 2026 Special Session on Agentic and Inclusive AI for Education aims to bring together researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, education, human-computer interaction, learning sciences, healthcare, psychology, cybersecurity, and software engineering. The session particularly welcomes theoretical, technical, methodological, and empirical contributions addressing the design, implementation, and evaluation of agentic, inclusive, secure, and human-centred AI systems for education. A particular focus is placed on AI systems that augment rather than replace human expertise, including trustworthy, explainable, privacy-preserving, and ethically supervised approaches.

Submission Guidelines
The official language of ICAITE 2026 is English for both paper submission and presentation.
Authors may submit either:
Full Papers: Full papers should follow the official ICAITE 2026 template and must be at least 5 pages. Accepted full papers will be invited for presentation and publication.
Abstracts: Authors interested in presenting their work without publication may submit an abstract using the conference abstract template. Accepted abstracts are eligible for presentation only and will not be included in the conference proceedings.
All submitted papers must describe original work that has not been previously published and is not simultaneously under review elsewhere.
Full papers will undergo a double-blind peer-review process and will be evaluated according to scientific merit, innovation, relevance, and quality of presentation.
Submissions to the Special Session should be made through the dedicated ICAITE 2026 Special Session S2 electronic submission system (https://www.zmeeting.org/Submit/paper/track_id/676/short_url/icaite2026.html).
Publication
Accepted full papers will follow the ICAITE 2026 publication process and will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE conference proceedings according to the conference publication requirements.
Abstract submissions are for presentation only and will not be published in the proceedings.

- Read the full call for papers — page limits, template (IEEE, ACM, LNCS …) and whether review is double-blind.
- Deadlines are usually 23:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE) — convert to Bangladesh time (UTC+6) and aim to submit a day early.
- At least one author normally has to register and present; budget for the fee and, for in-person events, a visa appointment well before the conference.
- Look for student travel grants and volunteer programmes — most large conferences run both, with deadlines soon after notification.
